Every strong tree begins with deep roots. In our community, moms and matriarchs - who are in the weeds raising children - are those roots.

Here, we celebrate anyone who is a primary maternal caregiver or mom - all generations! Grandparents, aunts, caregivers, adoptive or foster parents. It takes a village and we aren’t excluding here.

We are the ones stretching ourselves to hold everything steady while life keeps pulling us in a dozen directions at once.

When I say “community,” what comes to mind?

By definition, community is two things:

A feeling of fellowship with others - born from sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

A group of people living in the same place or connected by something they share.

But community is more than a definition. It’s the foundation we build together - the everyday structure that holds us up.

At The Village Collective, families come first.

We believe every family deserves a place to feel supported, connected, and seen. Through our training and lived experience, we know that the arts - especially music and creativity - aren’t extras. They’re powerful tools that help families grow stronger, build life skills, and spark belonging.

Because when families are nurtured and creativity is welcomed, strangers become a Village - and that’s exactly what we’re building together.
