My Backstory & Heart

Music has always been the thread running through my life. I grew up in Jackson, singing in my church choir and playing the flute, discovering early on how music could open doors to connection and belonging. What started as a childhood love slowly became a calling - one that I’ve followed with intuition, nudges, and a deep trust in the connecting power of music.

Nearly 20 years ago, I stepped into music therapy with little more than passion and curiosity. From there, I grew Harmony Garden Music Therapy Services into a place where individuals, families, and whole communities could find support through music. Along the way, I’ve performed, created, built programs, and learned what it means to blend artistry, heart, and sustainability.

I didn’t set out envisioning the practice or community I have today - but every step, from leading a small circle of children with shakers to producing community concerts and family meetups, has shown me that music can truly cultivate community and grow connections. That’s what keeps me here, rooted in Jackson while exploring ways to travel and expand… Always ready to create, connect, and grow through music.

If you're curious about building a family-music community, seeking intuitive heart-centered business coaching, or just want to learn more - I'd love to connect.
